Part 2 of Chainsaw Man is making its debut very soon, and many Redditors are discussing possible predictions for how the story will continue.

The highly anticipated Part 2 to Tatsuki Fujimoto's acclaimed work Chainsaw Man has a new chapter coming out on July 13th. With that announcement, most fans have been circulating theories around Reddit about how the series will take a turn next in its "part two."

Chainsaw Man is a peculiar property known for the simple story it bares before viewers, but underneath that is a tale of suffering that comes with a capitalist-based society. The "first part" has instantly become a modern classic thanks to its unique tale and characters. But what possibilities are in store for the upcoming installment?

Going forward, the main conflict will most likely be Denji desperately trying to balance raising Nayuta and his studies. Nayuta is the current incarnation of the control devil after Makima; making her one of the most dangerous figures in Chainsaw Man.

TBulldozer has suggested that because of Nayuta's powers that she "will start to grow more and more out of control and Denji is gonna start feeling conflicted about her." This prediction hints at a darker direction than the series has ever taken where Denji may be left with an impossible decision regarding Nayuta's future.

In Part 1 a contract was made between Denji and Power that the latter will eventually find the former's latest reincarnation. It's a plot point in Chainsaw Man that has most fans eager with anticipation given the popularity of Power's character.

The Redditor who opened the Part 2 discussions on Reddit has also opened up with the possibility of Power "returning" but it will more than likely be a reincarnation. Their thoughts regarding Power's return is that "another “blood” fiend will come back with a new personality and face but has some of powers quirks."

After quitting Public Safety for good and making an attempt to work at a fast-food chain to disastrous results, Kobeni is in an unfortunate state. Throughout Part 1 Kobeni had been put through the wringer again and again due to her family always forcing her back into dangerous work for their sake without considering the emotional turmoil it had on her.

Going forward it would be a nice change of pace to see Kobeni helping Denji in raising Nayuta, or at the very least getting a break from the everyday struggles she used to endure. One Redditor seemed to share the same sentiment, hoping that Part 2 will begin with her "having a good life with a new car."

At the end of Part 1, it seemed that not all readers' questions were answered, with one major mystery revolving around what Devil is contracted to Kobeni. During the "Katana Man Arc", the timid Kobeni proved herself more than capable in combat situations against the devils.

Redditor yomino10 believes that the reveal of her contract will come out in an "unexpected" moment where she becomes the main villain of Part 2. While it's not too hard to believe considering that Kobeni has tried to kill Denji in the past, it could spell problems for the Devil hybrid as he's adjusting to life as a part-time superhero.

It should not be put past Fujimoto to ultimately upset fan expectations. Crafting the story more around the relationship between Denji and his new ward, Nayuta, will certainly be a unique way to go about telling the tale.

This angle was brought up by the Redditor who initiated the discussion on "Part 2 predictions." They open it up with the speculation that the story will go more in a "slice of life" direction as Denji does his best to try and make a healthy and loving environment for the extremely powerful control devil Nayuta.

Making its first appearance in the acclaimed "International Assassins" arc, Fujimoto's take on Hell is unlike any other featured in manga before. The home for the most fearsome and legendary devils was more melancholic than terrifying. A layout that is reminiscent of the door factory in Monsters Inc. set over what appears to be a poppy field like the one in Wizard of Oz is certainly not what most expect a depiction of Hell to be.

Regardless, what makes Hell an interesting concept for the Chainsaw Man story is how the Devils and Fiends are created there from a collective of human fears. Redditor abdu113 believed with certainty that "Hell will be depicted in Part 2," and that seems like a pretty plausible idea.

Although now dead, Makima's influence still looms over Denji. As set up in the final chapter of Part 1, it could be very easy for the recent incarnate of the control devil, Nayuta, to end up like Makima. Understanding Makima's past could be the key to better raising Nayuta.

One Redditor hoped that "they expand on Makima" with explanations on how the government raised her and how it affected her. Going into Makima's past will also offer an explanation of all the powers that the Control Devil could wield and provide great foreshadowing for Nayuta's latent abilities.

Lately, Tatsuki Fujimoto has been releasing special one-shots since CSM's chapter 97 was released. All of them could easily be described as high-school dramas of the absurd. Look Back and Goodbye Eri could easily be seen as possible templates for what Denji may endure once he enters high school.

Hijinks will ensue for the inept Denji as he will struggle to fit in his new educational environment. Redditor Quagtrap believes that "Part 2" will "start slow like part one and things will get progressively more out of wack." They even point out the possibility that a fiend or hybrid will be hiding amongst the students and faculty.

In the conclusion of Part 1, Kishibe was the one to actually locate the control devil's reincarnation and promptly dropped her off with Denji to raise them in a healthier environment before quickly vanishing. With the fate of Public-Safety's Devil Hunting divisions still left up in the air, it's hard to say what role Kishibe will have going forward.

One Redditor commented that they hoped to see Kishibe return by "dealing with the government and trying to hide Denji and Nayuta from it while getting information on what other nations are doing." Operating from the shadows to ensure their protection would be the perfect storyline for one of Chainsaw Man's most badass characters.

While Fiends and Devils can be killed (albeit it's very difficult to do so), the same cannot be said for Devil-Hybrids like Denji. There are ways to incapacitate one, but killing one is nigh impossible due to their immortality. With that said, there is a high probability that not only Reze could make a return, but Quanxi could as well.

This is mere speculation, but it would be a nice call back to the "Bomb-Devil Arc" where Reze joins Denji in his high school adventures. One Redditor believes that high school will be a safe place for Denji and there they will establish "healthy friendships with his classmates" and even possibly develop a "romantic relationship" as well, with Reze being a strong candidate for the latter.
