ARK Survival Evolved has grown exponentially in content since it released back in 2017. There is a lot to do in the game so you can survive effectively, and getting Gas consistently is a big part of it. So if you need to know how to make Gas in ARK Survival Evolved, we've got you covered.
Gas is a resource that is used for powering some structures and equipment. It can power the Fabricator, Electrical Generator, Industrial Grill, Chemistry Bench, Industrial Forge, Motorboat, Industrial Grinder, Zip-Line Motor, the Chainsaw, and the Mining Drill. It's worth noting that it's not a permanent resource either, and there are burn times for the different structures that dictate how long it can be used. Check the table underneath to see the different burn times.
There are some different ways to make Gas in ARK Survival Evolved, which we'll cover. A Refining Forge or Industrial Forge are the best ways to make Gas, with the latter being the best for making large quantities quickly. Placing six Oil and five Hide into one will allow you to produce five Gasoline within 30 seconds.
The other method to make Gas is by using the Chemistry Bench. To do this, you will need Congealed Gas Balls, Green Gems, or Fragmented Green Gems, and you will be able to produce Gas-Crafted Gasoline, however this functions the same as standard Gasoline.
